I bought a small samsung Tablet, which is wonderful and so easy to use, but although able to be used as a phone, proved awkward in general use due to its size. I needed a smart Phone. I need to use the internet for e mail on the move in work. I need the camera, the calender , The apps are always useful. and I needed all this to fit in my pocket. I checked out all the Samsung phones to find one that fitted the bill. I looked at what I actually needed rather than buy the latest all singing all dancing Model. So I opted for the samsung Galaxy x cover ruggedised. It does all I require on the move, its very user friendly, (intuitive I think it's called) I'm an engineer and work at height climbing around and needed something that would stand knock. its been a few months now and no complaints. The camera is good. Battery lasts all day. easy to use. I don't worry when it gets a knock in my pocket. Good impact resistant body, but screen still vulnerable ( this is my second S5690 first one dropped from desk onto hard floor glass down, cracked screen). Have used in rain,appears to be resistant to water ingress.Access to some great apps, never thought I would use, weather , news etc, have even shopped on line. Maps great, especially trying to get round new towns on foot, e.g. meetings in London & Coventry, wouldn't have been on time without this. Did not have a choice regarding colour the burnt orange OK, different. But can imagine not everybody's cup of tea. Not as good as an iPhone, due to camera. Best price found on amazon. |
