Got it yesterday (3 days ahead of time! Amazon rocks!) alongside the eKit 4 in 1 Connection Kit for Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Galaxy Tab 10.1 and a stylus which both worked excellent with the case. The quality of the "leather" looks and feels good, it's light and every part of the tablet is easily accessible (except for the microsd card which while accessible cannot be swapped as quickly as if like the tablet was without the case, but this is a minor if not non-existant problem for me) When i got it yesterday i noticed the light smell mentioned on some of the amazon.com reviews but today the case doesnt smell at all so no problem there either. The case also has a small strap in order to secure the tablet on your hand when you hold it verticaly which i found very helpfull. However, whether or not mine was made last thing on Friday before leaving for the weekend, it does not appear to be quite a match for the device. None of the cut-outs quite line up; they are all a millimetre or two out of alignment and the case makes access to the micro-SD expansion slot almost impossible. The only solution is to remove the device from the case, insert or exchange the card within, close the port cover and return the device to the case, a far from ideal or intelligent approach. The case is supposedly intended to be a virtually permanent fitment and not require the device to be removed to access some features. It claims to be leather but I am unsure that is the real deal rather than one of the man-made alternatives,; it does not feel or smell like the real thing.On the plus side, it does provide storage for a couple of extra micro-SD cards so you could in theory carry around 96GB of extra capacity beyond the 8 or 16GB which is factory installed. Less sensible is the inclusion of several credit card slots as, in the event of a theft, not only will you lose the device but you are giving the thief your credit cards. To my mind, it would be safer to store them separately. Admittedly, you can also use them for business cards, some of which I will happily prefer to lose. I have purchased other cases for other devices, not from Poetic as best I can recall, where they exhibited the same problems in fitting and compatibility. I wonder if Poetic had actually seen the device when they designed this product. As a teacher might say, 'Good try, but can do better'.
